Excuse My French On-Line Film Club offers a unique and alternative way to practice and improve French while gaining knowledge about French cinema.
 
Our film club is open to intermediate and advanced French speakers who are passionate - or just curious- about le cinéma français.
These 90 minute weekly on-line sessions run for 5 weeks and are an exciting opportunity to take part in passionate conversations about French film classics like Les 400 coups by François Truffaut and La Haine by Mathieu Kassovitz. Classes take place in the evening and are run by a native French tutor who holds a degree in Film and Television Production and who has years of experience teaching French. These classes are a fantastic opportunity to discuss and analyse key scenes from selected films and learn more about film techniques and movements such as La Nouvelle Vague, the French New Wave.
 
The films are not shown in their entirety during the classes. Therefore we strongly recommend our participants watch the films before the classes in their own time.
 
Our Film Club will start again in 2023. We welcome a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 6.

The price for a module of 5 sessions is £75.
